a picture is worth a thousands words

life is  like waiting for a train. you can stand back and watch it go by, never really being involved in what is going on, or you can push your way through to the front of the horde of eager travellers and be the first on the train. standing at the back and waiting passively by may work for some people and is generally the safer, calmer way to go but how can you honestly get anywhere in life if you are waiting for others to go ahead of you? what happenes when you are patiently awaiting your turn to board the train and find to your demise that it has filled to capacity while you were waiting? and then what? would you realistically make your way, once again, to the back of the horde? or would you push right back in the crowded cluster of people? life is something that needs to be experienced! you need to take chances, be rude, push past others in order to be able to experience life to the fullest! im not encouraging poeple to deliberately shove others to get ahead, or to be unnecessarily rude for no reason but rather to get out there. life cannot be lived in  the background. the forefront is where everything happens. there are many stops along the way where you will encounter many people, many of which can play a life-changing role both positively and negatively in shaping who we are as individuals. there will be many detours that we will have to take either by choice or not so much, the point, is that we welcome these detours as a part of life. be spontaneous!life is boring if you always follow the straight and narrow path.

so you need to decide for yourself whether you are one of those people that fight their way to the front of a crowd, or stand patiently, anonymously, in the background. and although both ways are fine, only one allows you to experience new things and be the best person that you can.

  1. for someone who has titled your blog "i am bored" you certainly don't have a boring outlook on life. I really like the energy of this post. What I don't like is how many entries you have to get caught up on:( you currently have a 2/11 :(
