in a crowd...
i feel that i don't really stand out in a crowd... i don't dress outlandishly or act in a way that would draw a person's attention. i think it is the hardest to describe how people see you. i would say that i am quiet and non-descipt. in a subway i would be a neutral traveller, not one to cause a ruckus. i tend to either dress well or dress comfy. i like to wear jeans and a nice shirt if i am going anywhere, usually paired with boots and a cardigan. if i want to relax i dress more comfortably. although my mother may consider it sloppy, i like to wear roots track pants and a warm sweater if i am cold or just want to be comfortable. my favourite color to wear in clothing is blue. i have heard that blue is the most neutral clothing colour. although some may wear black to avoid being noticed, people in black are often thought of as sinister and can be looked at suspiciously by other travellers. blue, on the other hand, often goes unnoticed. some of the most popular clothing stores for teens in my generation is abercrombie and hollister. the majority of the clothing sold at these stores is blue. these brands, that teens deem fashionable is breeding an army of bland robots. they are brainwashing young minds to wear the colours and styles that they like and creating a mass of neutral people. because of this, anyone that has the courage to express themselves through their own personal styles are further ostrasized because the differences are so clearly obvious. anyway, back to myself...(god that sounds soo self-involved!) what truly makes me noticable in a crowd is my loud voice. when others are quiet, i like to be loud to stir things up... thats how i see myself... i hope it's accurate! :)
